Well, as you probably already know, DC Realm hasn't been updated in about a month now.
This is not because I, or G, has given up on the site. No way. It is because I made a mistake.
Yes, a major mistake. I took the promises of a guy who runs a very legitimate game store and several other gaming site's promise.
He promised me that if we switched hosts and let him host DC Realm that he'd do it absolutely free and help maintain the site when we'd need it. So far, he's only come through on the former.
The site, yes, is up and running, but Frontpage extensions aren't installed on the site, so we can't do any updating with Frontpage. That is the first major problem we've ran into.
Secondly, and the main reason I wanted to switch to him was because he promised me that he'd install a PHP Nuke script on the site so we can begin updating more easily and frequently.
I've pestered this guy night and day, and all he gives me is excuses. Next week, tomorrow, I'm really busy right now, when I get back from Las Vegas. This is been going on the entire time!
I'm fed up with it now. This is absolutely crazy.
So yesterday, I was looking around the net for some nice hosts that support PHP. Well, I think I may have found what I've been looking for this entire time!
I found www.l40.net. This host has a really cool feature called Fantastico that automatically installs different scripts like PHP Nuke or PHP Website on your site. It also has a bunch of other cool scripts that we've been wanting to try out for a really long time.
What I'm basically saying is that DC Realm is going to change hosts again. I want to apologize for the long delay in the site, but I thought that it was a good move since we'd have an experienced programmer helping us out. The people at l40 seem really nice and professional, and I'm looking forward to working with them for a long time.
So be on the lookout, fellas. DC Realm is going to be back in action in about a week or two. This time it will be better than ever!

Word! I'd better get typing then, been a long 'holiday' from the site for me! *wink*
(pity the smilies don't work on here anymore- what's up with that man?)
